About CoronadoCoronado is a small southern California beach town on an "island" connected to San Diego by a landmark bridge and a ten miles narrow strip of sand called the Silver Strand. Despite it's Southern California location, it has a small town feel that sets it apart from other beach towns. You don't need a car when you stay on island. Visitors can walk everywhere. However, Biking is the number one mode of transportation in Coronado. Bring your own bike, or rent one while you are here. All the attractions of San Diego, like Sea World and the San Diego Zoo, are easily accessible from Coronado via car or public transportation. The weather in November is mild (60-70°F/15-20°C) with mostly blue skies. The town has many restaurants, hotels, and theaters. It is a vacation destination for people around the world and boasts one of the top ten beaches in the United States. | |
